The deal comes in the form of special giveaways; in this case free models that are not yet available to the public, and will not be added to The Emporium until Spring.

All Winners will be notified by email. I ask that each Winner verify that they received their prize with their order, by simply replying to the Winners Topic that I will post here at WAR ART on January 6th 2012.

To keep the chances of winning reasonably in your favor, I am limiting this promotion to only theses 100 products. I chose 13 of my favorite numbers from 1 to 100. The random factor comes into play determined simply by the order in which I receive each Payment Confirmation via Pay Pal. The winning numbers are 1 6 13 19 26 39 43 53 66 73 86 93 and 100. The specific type of prize will be determined by a little blind drawing. I have a jar set up with 1 Black, 1 Green, and 11 Red gem stones (the little glass counter beads some of us use as game markers), just for this Promotion. When a winning number comes up, I will draw a bead and we will see what happens...kinda fun.

The time limit for this contest begins from the moment I publish this article, and it will run until all 100 Products are sold out. BIOSECT: ROACH Completed Sculpture Preview

"I have seen brave men, Great Warriors,  pulled into the vile wet blackness of The Under...and they could not scream."

Biosect Roaches are not a Dark Science Race however their mutation evolved from feeding upon such beings. Roach-Men, as they are sometimes called, thrive in The Under and in any other dark damp place with a reasonable food supply. They often locate themselves near appropriately temperate Human Settlements.

Roaches are The Ultimate Solitary Survivalist. They are considered to be an Evil race, but they are actually neutral, caring only for what is best for them. Females will watch their Eggs until they hatch, but once the Imps are able to feed, they are left to their own fates.

Occasionally Adults have been known to form small bands of their own kind, or work with other species of Biosect, and even Manamals, and other Humanoids.The average Adult Roach is about 7'6" and weighs around 260lbs. Adults are Master Hunters, and Path Finders. Roach-Men are at least as intelligent as a capable Human. They are cunning and absolutely deadly opponents in Martial Combat. A single Warrior Roach is roughly as strong as six good Human males. Their Digits and Back Arms are razor sharp and able to rip metal open like so much damp paper. The typical adult is entirely armoured and can sustain a full burst at point blank range from all but the most powerful Ballistic Weapons. All Biosects have sharp reflexes and are fast on their feet, Roaches are uncanny in this regard. Roach Warriors are very keen on Tech, and employ a variety of Guns and other Tech Weapons stolen or salvaged from their victims, and allies. Roach-Men can speak to other intelligent beings and all types of Insects via a minimal form of Intuitive Telepathy.

A Word On Design. I have kept the Back Limbs of my Roach-Men as a seperate bit, for the ease of casting, and so that we can pose these extra arms in whatever way looks best to us.

This has been a fun model to conceive, and finally complete. I learned some new approaches to sculpting on this little Bad Ass Bug Fellow...lol.

BIOSECTS: ROACH, FLY, and TANK WIP Previews 1

The Biosects are an extreme result of The G.E.B.O. (Genetically Engineered Biological Offensive) Campaign launched by NAC in the years after The Awakening. Many decades later, insects of that time, who fed on the dead have become something other...and terrifying.

A Word On Design. I am making a few racial types for this Faction. In addition to The Roach, Fly, and Tank Biosects, I am also working on Ant, Wasp, and Worm species. Many of these sculptures will have multiple parts to give the model a high level of detail and combat diversity. For example Roaches have Scything Arms off of their backs, and the Tanks are a sort of terrible Centaurian being, capable of using Ordinance Weapons with the same ease that a Human fires a Rifle.

I am very pleased with how these sculptures are progressing. I think they may become some of my better pieces.
