I have a few nice models in route to Iron Wind this week. All of my Trooper & Cavalry Bases, some secrete projects (LOL...Whoow!) most of these are the 3D Sculptures I have had done in the last year.
This Master Mold is going out to take care of the bulk of my plastic toys. I have a lot of my Traditional Sculpture almost ready to be Mastered too. I am going to send them off soon too, that will be Master Mold Four.

Moddler & NEW 3D Joint Nickahs.
How about Moddler. I am going to be a lazy no good, and just link to John Bear's nice post about Moddler. Big JB said it all just fine, so I invite you to read his comments at his Cool Azz Blog.
I had a few new 3D's done too recent like. I ain't showing you guys all of them, but I will share the one that I am the most happy with; a Chain Blade which I will use for several of my new 15MM and 30MM sculptures.
Sexy as Hell...ain't it Brothers.
This baby is at Moddler right now, with other new models and a redo of my Toxic Dead Black Barrel, which got crushed the first time Stu tried to Master it. This second time around the damn thing will be 2/3 filled with Procreate before I send it to Iron Wind.
I will share some more 3D stuff soon...

This is the Chain Blade. I will sculpt The Engions on based on several designs. |

NAC DEATH STRIDER WIP Preview 2
This damn thing is going to kill me, or I am going to kill it! I have a hell of a lot of work to do yet...but the next stages of sculpting will be the FUN part!
Joseph
A Word On Design. I am making certain that this deadly machine will LOOK LIKE it can actually carry a sturdy human pilot in full battle armour. I am pretty sure that the body for this model will be produced in resin...of course Mike has the final say on that.

A.S.P. COMPLETED SCULPTURE Preview
A.S.P. or Auto Security Post are used in all TECH Nation and many NAC Territories, and are provided to Allied Priority Territories. These simple but effective Mini Mechs usually work in conjunction with other Security Screens and Mechs such as SEC and MFD Units, but can be deployed on their own to maintain boarders or Temporary Operation Zones.
ASP use Pulse Lasers to raise a force fence, so to speak. The fence is always active, but will power up, becoming deadly, when approached by undesirable elements. If threatened each ASP can directly fire it's Pulse Laser at the attacker.
A Word On Design. I intend to use little colored plastic tubes to represent the laser fence. These little fellows will make the tabletop very fun, as they close off sections of the field, and fire at advancing models...lol.

More Good News From IWM
I started work on a few of my larger models a while back, but got a little jaded honestly when I considered just how tight a 9 inch mold is, and it looked like producing my Vehicles and Large Monsters would have to be put off.
Well after chatting with Mike today about the Master Mold, he informed me that Iron Wind Metals has just set up two new 12 inch molds specifically for casting Resin Models.
That really IS good news. I am fighting the good fight and sculpting my BIG Models by hand. Now I can use other raw materials such as Plasticard. I am very happy about this, becuase I can keep all of my products at IWM, and have them do the Pewter and Resin in house.
This also means that my BIG Stuff will not take me a year to sculpt nor will it cost a million dollars to produce.
Cool, cool, cool!

MINI MECHS WIP 1
These little machines are going to be fun when I get them completed I should think, and downright useful in games.
A Word On Design. I am going to make these very tiny models as detailed as possible. They are the little Bot side kicks for some of my Characters, and cool Terrain Elements which will impact game play.

S.E.C. MECH CLASS-A & MFD Completed Sculptures Preview
Tech Weaponry comes in many classifications from huge S.E.C. batteries mounted upon the ramparts of fortified instillation's, to tiny devices hidden in a piece of jewelry.
Perhaps the most common of these (with the exception of utilitarian weaponry of course) are S.E.C. Mechs.
Security Enforcement Constructs (S.E.C.s) are designed and manufactured almost exclusively in The TECH Vaults of Techer Cities. These deadly Mechs are available to anyone with the wits to deal with Techers (and survive) and the cash to pay for them. NAC has long standing trade agreements with TECH Nation, and use most of the various S.E.C. Mechs manufactured by them .
The S.E.C. Mech any traveler can expect to encounter first when entering The Outskirts of TECH or NAC Territories is a Class A Death Tower or it's counterpart, an Electro Braced Multi Function Drone (MFD).
Death Towers are typically encountered in their Monitoring Mode. The Main Body, or Tower, is retracted in a Fixed Sub-level Mount (FSM) where it can be repaired by an MFD, constantly charged, and the Mimi Missile Launchers are reloaded by an Auto Loader or MFD. When the sensors identify a trespasser, the Tower rises quietly and waits for the subject to enter it's Field Of Action (FOA). Depending on the Command Protocol set by the S.E.C. Mech's owner, the Tower will warn off intruders or attack them until they are either incapacitated or dead or have left the Machines FOA.
The Tower has the ability to use a Low Power version of it's Laser which acts as a highly effective Stun Beam. When the assigned protocol has been met for a particular situation, the Tower quietly descends back into it's FSM, and goes back in Monitor Mode. If the Machine was acting under The Acquire Protocol and it used it's Laser in Stun Mode, it will notify the proper entities of the incapacitated subject, and deploy one or both of it's MFDs to recover the target for collection.
Multi Function Drones are stored in the FSM with the Death Tower. Typically a Tower has two MFDs at it's disposal. An MFD has the ability to fight if need be. It is well armoured like the Tower, and carries a Light Pulse Laser and Medium Utility Arm. The arm is equipped with a Tazer and Cutter as well as a Grip Claw with Inset Multi Tool Unit. The MFDs are sent out to preform long range observation if the Tower deems it necessary to track numerous or particularly dangerous intruders into it's FOA.
A Word On Design. I have designed this sculpture so that it can be used on the tabletop in Monitoring (Tower Down) and Active (Tower Up) mode. The set will include: 1 Fixed Sub-level Mount (FSM) Base with the Port and Scanner Module, 1 Tower, 2 MFDs, 2 Flight Bases, 1 Bits Sprue which includes the Heads, Pule Lasers, and Utility Arms for the Drones.
Note: The MFD Unit is often used by Techers. This means that you are getting a peek at the cute little Hover Bot that will come with my Bionoid Techer Babe, when I do her in her active (Not a captive...LOL) Mode. As a complete Figure Set. I still need to finish sculpting her Jetter (Jet Bike) and convert her so she is ...Uhh...fully dressed.

BIO TITAN WIP Preview 2
I have been in the mode to work on my bigger models this month, because they need a hell of a lot of work, and I want to get them done this year. You can expect regular updates on these works.
I started the base for The Bio Titan and the arms. The arms are just wire at this point, and I have some brass sheeting cut to do some sexy base details like ruined walls and similar battlefield debris...but not to much to document at this time. I will post all of these components in Preview 3.
This is a collection of art that I am looking at for inspiration and musculature reference. Please keep in mind that I am NOT doing The Bio Titan to look just like this art. I am sharing these images with you to give you a bit of flavor and a general idea of what I am doing.
I will post more on this project soon.

NAC WAR STRIDER WIP Preview 1
The Northern American Combine (NAC) are the most powerful and widespread of The New World Order. NAC Keeps The Peace with many TECH Nation Mechs. The most commonly deployed of these powerful machines are War Striders.
This is a simple little compiled image to give you an idea of the size of a Strider.
Here are the base parts I am working on. Notice that I am only doing one leg. This is going to be very detailed, and will include Anti Assault Mines ans a Pulse Laser mounted in the knee.
Here are some other Spider and Tri-Legged Mechs which give you an idea of what I am going for with this model.
A Word On Design. The War Strider will have several Weapon Options.
What I stated a few days ago about The BIO TITAN, holds true for this large model also. Now that I have this piece more or less based out, I am going to work on it often.
I will post regular updates on this model and preview The NAC Death Droug soon.

BIO TITAN WIP Preview 1
I have been working on a number of larger scale figures and vehicles that I have yet to share with you. The main reason for this is because these sculptures have been sort of a catch all set of back burner projects which receive left over putty here and there. When a nightly batch of epoxy begins to become to firm for my liking as I work on the tiny details of my small pieces I add form to my large models. I do not like to waste my supplies so I use up the putty on these back burner projects.
I have slowly developed a few of these larger models to a workable Base Shape over the last six months, and as a result I am more inclined to begin focusing on some of my BIG Monsters and Vehicles. The first of these are going to be my Manic Widow-Mech Tech-Hybrid; The Bio Titan, and The NAC War Strider.
Here is a look at the base form for The Manic's Titan, with some basic work done on two of it's Heavy Weapons.
I wanted to have a few very large models in The TOMORROW BLACK Range, and this guy will be the first of them. I love the idea of a model that can toss a tank over or pick up a typical humanoid in one hand...that is some fun gaming in my book.
A Word On Design. I am going to keep the head and arms as separate components for this model, so that I can have some diversity in the look, without sculpting more than one of these Mold Hogging figures, and beside how many of these terrifying things do you need on the tabletop...no more than one or two I should think.
I will post more previews of this model, and start a Preview Series on The NAC War Strider...soon.

S.E.C. MECH WIP Preview 1
A common danger any Well Traveled Walker expects to encounter when nearing the borders of The Techer or NAC Territories are S.E.C. Mechs. The trick to getting by them is to see them before they see you...
Mechs.

A word on Design. I am working on a few weapon options for this S.E.C. Mech Type.
A word on Design. I am working on a few weapon options for this S.E.C. Mech Type.
The first is a combo of one Medium Laser and a Mini-Missile Pod. I have designed this sculpture so that it can be used on the tabletop in Scanning (Turret Down) and Active (Turret Up) mode.
I am going to make a few Mech Tech Weapons for the Techer and NAC Factions. This is just the first type.
