Grand Prize Closeup
First Place Prize
All Winners will be notified by email. I ask that each Winner verify that they received their prize with their order, by simply replying to the Winners Topic that I will post here at WAR ART on January 6th 2012.

To keep the chances of winning reasonably in your favor, I am limiting this promotion to only theses 100 products. I chose 13 of my favorite numbers from 1 to 100. The random factor comes into play determined simply by the order in which I receive each Payment Confirmation via Pay Pal. The winning numbers are 1 6 13 19 26 39 43 53 66 73 86 93 and 100. The specific type of prize will be determined by a little blind drawing. I have a jar set up with 1 Black, 1 Green, and 11 Red gem stones (the little glass counter beads some of us use as game markers), just for this Promotion. When a winning number comes up, I will draw a bead and we will see what happens...kinda fun.

The time limit for this contest begins from the moment I publish this article, and it will run until all 100 Products are sold out. If this happens in 1 order, 13 orders, or more, has no bearing, when everything is sold the contest ends immediately, or it may run until 12 Midnight Eastern Time on December 30th.

Finally, all winners of this Promotion will be eligible for a free membership in The BME Brotherhood. This gives you a regular 13% discount on all orders, and access to a number of additional benefits, all of which I will cover in a future article.

If you have already received a free model(s) from me with your recent order, you may still participate in this Promotion.
This Promotion is limited to Citizens of The United States. I will have another Promotion for my International Brothers when I begin accepting Global Orders.

HURATT SEEKER: RIKATIK COMPLETED SCULPTURE Preview

"Rikatik is a well respected Master Seeker among we Path Finders. He has killed many of our enemies...and the more often; they died so that our Prince may lengthen his Long Walk...for our sakes"

Rikatik was raised from birth by Tajatak and gifted to Rattak, his first born. Rattak trained the young Rikatik in The Ways of Path Finding, to improve his usefulness as a Seeker. In time since, Rattak has taken him on his Long Runs, and the now adult Rikatik is considered a great prize.

I will post images later tonight.

A Word On Design. I really enjoyed sculpting this model. There is a lot to be said for an intelligent and strong little Sidekick that can kill a competent human, with his Specially Crafted Path Finder Weapons, or just his teeth and claws...you know.

Check out Jello's "CHEW". You have to love a song about giant rats taking over a major city...

"As big as a cat, not afraid to chase people...a shot gun will only kill one at a time!"

MANIC WIDOW WIP Preview 2

I recently got back in the mood to work on this crazy bitch. She is starting to look something like what I imagined her to be...now.

I am working on her Familiar too, and should have the complete set done this month, with some of my other older models.

SECOND SERIES SCULPTURES

I think this collection of work will make the bulk of The TOMORROW BLACK Series 2 Sculptures. I may be able to add more to the Second Master Mold, but I am going to get these done first.

MINI MECHS WIP 1

These little machines are going to be fun when I get them completed I should think, and downright useful in games.

A Word On Design. I am going to make these very tiny models as detailed as possible. They are the little Bot side kicks for some of my Characters, and cool Terrain Elements which will impact game play.

THE MANAMAL POLL

LET'S TRY THIS ONE AGAIN.

I posted a similar poll back in the Black Autumn Days and it went nowhere. I have changed everything in my little world since then...this time the deal IS real.

The purpose of this Poll is to determine what Manamal Types will be made first and also which will get the Gang or Race treatment. I am going to sculpt one of everything in this poll, as a cool Monster/Character. Any of these Mutant Animal Humanoids will make a damn fun NPC or Special PC in RPG and a MERC or Monster Encounter in Skirmish Games.

If the poll and subsequent sales elevate certain Manamals, then I will do a Gang or Complete Race of the popular species. To give you some idea of how these sculptures may look, I am sharing some of the art that I have in my Reference Folders. I am not making my models just like this, but you can get the Flavor from these images.

A Word On Design. I have other Manamal Species in mind, this is the first batch, to get the product range started in earnest.

Other Manamal Species currently on my work desk.

CHARACTERS: GERROD THE PSYCHE Completed Sculpture Preview

From The Iron Mind to The Inner Body Electric, Gerrod has learned the true way of The Fire Of Unknown Origin. Among Psyche he is revered for his Heavy Clarity. For the power that comes to one who is devoted to these principles is mighty indeed, thus he and his disciples are greatly feared by The Manic Widows and The Unenlightened.

Gerrod travels the entire of New America bringing protection, knowledge and guidance to the wayward tribes, so that New Free Zones might flourish, and in time bring order to the land.

The creation of this Character was inspired by The Music of BLUE OYSTER CULT.

A Word On Design. This figure is also intended for use as a Promoter in The QWIK Game.

CHARACTERS: SHELLY- GEAR TECH Completed Sculpture Preview

Gear Techs are people who have a seemingly instinctive base knowledge of Mid-Tech Machines. If they apply themselves to it, with almost no training, they are able to build, maintain, and repair commonly used security and farming equipment, as well as vehicles. These individuals are extremely valued in communities who do not care to trade with The TECH Nation.

Shelly is a Native of Port York. When her father deemed her of age she traveled with him and her older brothers on his Tech Tramper visiting the Coasters Settlements to trade his advanced skills as a renowned Gear Tech. As she grew up she learned the skill. In times of rest at home her three brothers inspired her to play Qwik with their childhood friends on the island. In time her skill was above average and she took to traveling abroad, selling her services as she explored the Wet Waste.

Eventually she came to base herself in The Territory of Ashington. She now works with Byron and other Qwik Reffs organizing  tournaments in which she offers her custom Qwik Gear and occasionally she will even fill in for wounded Qwiks and Drives, for a Bonus Fee.

Shelly still travels to Port York to visit her family, and she occasionally ventures into The Borderlands, acting as a requested Advisor to Communities setting up or reaping Mid-Tech Systems.

A Word On Design. This was a fun project. I sort of let the models design themselves...I just worked the putty.
I was going for a Nomadic look with Shelly's clothing, and a Medium TECH level for her gear. The gear was a little challenge because I had to think; "Okay this world has very advanced technology, so what does medium technology look like then?"

I am not disappointed with this project, but I might add a cute little Tow-Bot to Shellie's gear, to pull the cart. Originally I figured she just pulls her cart around to keep herself in shape...lol ...I do like the idea of a little "Beep-Boop-Bleep" type of little sidekick fellow...dunno yet.

CHARACTERS: BYRON THE TREMENDOUSE Completed Sculpture Preview

Great are the few who travel The Waste alone...and return, more than once. Such is a man known in most of the Guarded Settlements as: Byron The Tremendous! The weak and the helpless love him. The strong and the insolent respect him. The wicked and the merciless fear him!

In his youth Byron roamed The Eastern Waste for a decade or more, so it is believed. Some say he has even faced The Baron Murghast, and in that great fight cut clean the beast's right arm at the elbow! This was years ago now, but in the time since no Guarded Settlement in our Domain has again been haunted by The Barons Mighty Hordes.

Byron has settled in his middle age to live again in his Home Territory of Ashington. He used to be a renowned Slash in The Game of Qwik, and now holds tournaments which he and his son referee.
Byron still travels out to The Borderlands from time to time, acting as a protector to worthy travelers, and to personally aide Settlements when Raiders become to great a threat to the peace of our Domain.

A Word On Design. It probably has not been overlooked, but I'll mention it just the same, Byron is a multi part model.

This was a very fun project.

The PETER STEELE Project

I do not watch Television at all...period. I am not a news guy, so I look things up on the Internet and do my own research...anyhow. I had not heard this until tonight when I decided to hunt up a few of my bands to see if any of them had a new video or perhaps an album coming soon. I was looking up Type O Negative among others, and while I own all of their work...everything...I knew it was getting about time for Peter and the gang from Brooklyn to put out a new album because they do one every two or three years. I stumbled on a little YouTube video stating that Peter Steele,  the main man behind Type-O,  had died at age 48.

I am not going to say much else about this, but if you are even remotely interested in Dark, Strong, Passionate, and Intelligent music...I invite you to check out some of the work from one of my favorite bands of all time... TYPE O NEGATIVE.

As my friends here know I am all about sculpting cool shit that no one else is doing...not in this scale. I have been planning to do some very serious Vampires and Werewolves, which relates to my love for Type O Negative's work. Peter wrote many heartfelt and eerie songs about Vampires and Werewolves, among other mysterious and provocative topics.
I had a few people in mind for the models for these sculptures, Pete was at the top of the list. Now that I have learned of this gentile giants death, I am going to do a Peter Steele Tribute figure.

This all might sound crazy to people who do not know who Peter Steele was. What is the big deal Joe...right?
The best thing I can tell you is simply this: to many of us Autumn-Winter people,  who enjoy the Darker Side of life, Big Green Pete was as important to us as John Lennon and Elvis Presley are to the main stream pop culture.

More Info about Peter and TON.

I am not in a very good fucking mode right now...

BARON WIP Preview 1

The Baron Morghast, Father of The Eastern Plague, rules the Wet-Waste and the surrounding plain from York to Texxaz.
"Fear and Honor are great upon his Dreaded Name."

All who have ever fought The Baron's Mighty Hordes, Praise The Whisperer that they yet still breath.

A word on Design. I am sculpting The Baron and nearly all Murghast Models with Unique Weapons. Basically I am treating the models for this range as Characters, due to the way I have developed their history and approach to battle. The chief concern for me with this Faction is that every model look as bizarre and as detailed as possible, which means that I can not simply make a few Basic Weapons and Body Blanks, and then convert up a bunch...not for these Little Meanies...I love them to much for that.

I will post Previews of The Murghast Warriors, with a brief Racial Overview, soon.

RATTAK WIP Preview 1

Rattak is a Renowned War Maker and Master Path Finder of The Huratt whom rule The Under of York. He is currently making a Long Run, to learn more of his peoples great enemy...

Huratt are a Dark Science Race which all but rule in The Under (more on this later) and in other remote subterranean places.

Huratt are an Evil race that hunt all Non-Rodent Mammals, especially Feline Manamals and Humans, for their Food.
The average Huratt stands about 6'6" and weighs around 260lbs. Huratt maintain a Lethal Hierarchical Society, where in the most  intelligent and physically capable dominate the lower classes.
Hurrat Warriors are terribly agile and extremely powerful. Warriors are very keen on Old Tech, and employ a variety of finely crafted Swords and Crossbows, along with many Sonic Weapons of their own design.  Huratt Raids are considered a tragedy for even well guarded settlements, and for lesser beings these assaults mean utter extinction .

A word on Design. I am sculpting Huratt Weapons and...lol...Tailes, on separate sprues so that collectors can add fun little details to each of their Huratt Warrior Models. For my side of it as the sculptor,  I can use these bits while converting the Master Castings of the Warrior Models,  later in the Conversion Phase of Production.

True Scale: is a close approximation of the Real Size of the Original Sculpture. Basically I re-sized the image until I could hold the 3D model to the screen,  right next to the 2D digital reproduction,  and eye-ball it with the Original work...until it looked right.

I will post more Previews of other Huratt soon.
